Each Campaign starts at various Reform tiers.
This faction is playable in the Grand Campaign, Imperator Augustus Campaign, Empire Divided Campaign, Hannibal at the Gates Campaign, Macedonian Wars Campaign, Rise of the Republic Campaign and Caesar in Gaul Campaign. Imperial Reforms occur at Imperium Level 7, turn 210. Many dont know you can change them separately. Many of the common battle complaints are from people who have set the game to very hard and not changed battles back to normal. Battles are balanced around normal difficulty. Marian Reforms happen at Imperium Level 5, turn 100. The reason we always say Normal is twofold: 1. Polybian Reforms occur at Imperium Level 3, turn 40. Baktria Egypt Epirus Macedon Seleucids Greek City States & Colonies. Rome has several special systems including hundreds of unique Auxiliary units that unlock at various reform tiers and are tied to specific regional recruitment. The campaign begins in the middle of the Pyrrhic Wars with Epirus and follows Rome’s dramatic rise to Empire. Those for whom the game itself was named, Rome is the most developed faction in Divide et Impera.
